Nintendo's long-anticipated next installment in the Pokemon series, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, is now available in Japan.
Pokemon XD seems to follow in the footsteps of its Colosseum-based predecessors, serving up a Pocket Monster-themed storyline that's more or less there to connect the battles. Gamers become a Pokemon trainer and journey through a futuristic landscape filled with the critters. The graphical presentation seems marginally improved over previous Poke-outings, and like Pokemon Colloseum for the Gamecube, the game music owns :P!
