Top 25 GCN Games Of All Time

"Released in November of 2001, the GameCube is home to some of the most addictive games of the past four years. Don't be fooled by the itty-bitty form factor: there's a lot of big fun locked away in there, particularly when it comes to multiplayer throwdowns. After a lot of internal debate GameSpy is pleased to list the picks for the Top 25 GameCube Games of All-Time."

Gamespy has released it's list for the top 25 Gamecube games that are currently available. The list with game information is available at:
http://cube.gamespy.com/articles/639/639689p1.html

Here are the top 25 according to the lis (in order):

1. Resident Evil 4
2. The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker
3. Metroid Prime
4. Super Smash Bros Melee
5. Soul Calibur 2
6. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
7. Beyond Good And Evil
8. Mario Kart: Double Dash
9. Viewtiful Joe
10. Super Mario Sunshine
11. Super Monkey Ball 2
12. Animal Crossing
13. Metroid Prime 2 Echoes
14. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
15. Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II (requires GC Broadband Adaptor for online play)
16. Pikmin 2
17. F-Zero GX
18. The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition
19. SSX 3
20. The Legend of Zelda: Four Sword Adventures
21. Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II
22. NBA Street Vol. 2
23. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
24. Resident Evil Remake
25. Ikaruga

Personally, I reckon there are many games missing on the list that deserve a place in the top 25. Some I can think of are Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Tales Of Symphonia, Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, Cel Damage, Mario Power Tennis, Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect, and Donkey Konga. Certainly I'd give these games a higher rating than Zelda Four Swords (which offers GBA graphics on the Gamecube, and Zelda: Collector's Edition, which was basically an N64 game on the Gamecube -_-.
