Wi-Fi USB Router For DS

Nintendo have revealed the device which turns your PC into an instant wireless hotpot to play online DS games. According to sources, in addition to Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Tony Hawk and Metroid Prime on DS, there are also many other titles in development that support online play, including an outcoming Castlevania DS.

There is an article on Aussie Nintendo, which provides detailed pictures of the router and connection, and also plenty of information on the cool new device. The device will sell for $35 U.S, that is pretty cheap considering it IS a wireless router, but still may require some saving up (but it is definitely worth it!).

Sadly no information regarding hotspots for Australia has been released, although for most users, the PC would be enough. And sorry to the peeps still running dialup on their systems, Wi-Fi play for the DS will not be available for you.

Also, I wonder how many consoles one router can host. Since DS Wi-FI supports up to 8 players on some games, and even more with Animal Crossing, hopefully this device can support at least 4 systems at once.

This price certainly isn't bad for a wireless router...
